Hack Away!

How often do you ask yourself: “What is unessential?” We fill our days with so many added distractions, stressors, focuses and acquaintances; only to be overwhelmed, anxious and unsuccessful.

We strive to impress strangers on our social media and have them return the attention back to us… but, are we supposed to be the focus (are they)?? No. Absolutely not. And, as long as we live this way, we’ll find ourselves unfulfilled, frustrated and possibly broke!

Don’t wear yourself out trying to get rich. Be wise enough to know when to quit. In the blink of an eye wealth disappears, for it will sprout wings and fly away like an eagle. Proverbs 23:4-5

I double-dog-dare you to look at your life honestly and very specifically. What could you live without? The answer could be as simple as social media OR dessert! But, keep going… what else steals your time, focus, energy, happiness, health, worship or rest? What is keeping you from TRUE needed things like family, faith and friendship?

Get crazy bold and HACK AWAY at those things!

Make room for the BEST things currently being robbed by the good things (or not-so-good things) and as you discover MARGIN, don’t just automatically fill back up with “BLAH” but instead talk to God and ask Him lead your life towards eternal things and be content to have guilt-free deep breaths! In fact, pause right now and breath deeply 3 times!

God wants us to work hard and set proper goals. But He does not want us controlled by the approval of strangers or the riches of our greedy, me first, culture. He wants our lives to have eternal destiny & impact. He wants us free….
