NEW ... AGAIN!

FACT: God's path for the next chapters of my life are not what I had thought or imagined.

This IS exciting, terrifying, exhilarating, numbing and super challenging!

Sure, we can all quote Ephesians 3:20 and say "God's doing something GREATER, BIGGER THAN YOU CAN THINK OR IMAGINE... blah, blah, blah…” — but how often do we actually let Him push us beyond the comfort zone? Force us to fly?

How often can He trust us with no income, no plan and few encouragers? How often are we in a place that unless God comes through it will fail? Can God trust you with the lies, laughter and belittling of others? Can you endure silence, ignorance, accusations and drama?

Will you willingly walk where danger surrounds you - where risk beckons you and where no one can hear your cries for help? Can you listen to God without interrupting or suggesting an easier plan? Will you CEASE STRIVING?!

You don't get beauty for ashes unless you've been burned to nothing but ash. You don't get crazy new bold dreams if you still try to control every detail of your life.

So, hurry and get to the end of yourself so LIFE can really begin.

"God can do anything, you know—far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams! He does it not by pushing us around but by working within us, his Spirit deeply and gently within us. Glory to God in the church! Glory to God in the Messiah, in Jesus! Glory down all the generations! Glory through all millennia! Oh, yes!" Ephesians 3:20-21 Msg.

This is WHY it’s been over 3 months since I posted anything here… YEP, this IS where I'm at and I am ready to die to self and leap into the unknown of God's plans -- yes, to reckless abandon myself to the purposes of the King.

Whether clawing upward or falling downward, I will stay on His mission and find my footing in His grace.
